Very few, very clean ingredients
Every treat we include has a short, readable ingredient list — no fillers, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, nothing you can't pronounce. If it says salmon, salmon is what you'll find. We keep it as close to one ingredient as possible, and never more than a handful.
No common allergens by default
We avoid the four most common dog allergens — chicken, beef, wheat, and dairy — unless a subscriber specifically requests them.
Sensitive stomach first
Every protein we source is chosen because it is gentle, digestible, and safe for dogs who react to mainstream treats.
Transparent sourcing
We tell you exactly what protein is in each treat and where it comes from. No mystery ingredients. Ever.

We started Pawfood Critics because we were frustrated dog owners who couldn't find treats we actually trusted. We've been in your position — reading ingredient labels at the pet store, putting things back on the shelf, watching our dog reject yet another bag we just bought.
We built this company to solve our own problem. That means we hold ourselves to a standard that isn't driven by profit margins or mass production. It's driven by one dog's reaction. If our dog wouldn't eat it, it doesn't go in your box. That's the promise.
